The St. Cloud Rox (12-24) won their third straight game, topping the visiting Duluth Huskies Thursday night at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud.

St. Cloud kicked off the games scoring with one run in the bottom of the third, when Ricardo Sanchez stole home putting the Rox up 1-0.

The Rox broke the game open in the sixth inning, with Sanchez leading the way. After Jack Barrie drove home Ryan Weisenberg on a sacrifice fly, Sanchez came through when St. Cloud needed it most, delivering a two-RBI single to center field to put his team ahead for good.

Sanchez finished the game 1-for-2 with one run scored and two RBI to lead the Rox. Bobby Seymour went 2-for-4 with one run scored, while Barrie and Landon Stephens each added one hit.

The Rox pitching staff had an impressive showing for the second night in a row. Jack Cushing pitched seven stellar innings to start the game, giving up eight hits, three runs, two walks and striking out seven. Erik Martinez pitched one shutout inning in relief, while Finn Del Bonta-Smith pitched one shutout inning to pick up the save.
