RECALL: Owners Should Stop Using Popular Utility Vehicle
There is a lot of hard work done in Minnesota. People here work hard for their employers and then turn around and work hard at home. Whether it’s taking care of the hobby farm they own or just managing the upkeep of their property, hard work is in Minnesota’s DNA.

Having the right tools is a main component of being able to complete the work that has to be done. UTV or Utility Vehicles are popular tools around our state for getting the work that needs to be done, done.
If you’re one of the many Utility Vehicle owners, here’s a little heads up, a popular brand has recalled seven models.
According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, Kubota Tractor Corporation has recalled their RTV line of Utility Vehicles.
The problem is that the ball joint that is connected to the front suspension arm can become loose and then separate from the suspension arm causing the driver to lose wheel support which of course, could lead to a crash.
The Model Numbers are as follows with the last five digits of the serial number:
RTV520 10004-25434 and X0005-X0507
RTV-X1120 41413-41489
RTV-X1130 10003-11962
RTV-X1140 55080-80440
RTV-X 10001-16796
RTV-X900 79863- 80047
RTV-X1100C 77675-97306
These vehicles were sold from January 2021 through December 2024 with prices ranging between $11,000 and $27,000.
No injuries have been reported to this point, but Kubota and the Consumer Product Safety Commission say that you should stop using this vehicle immediately.
The repair for this vehicle can be done for free at authorized Kubota dealers, you should contact the authorized dealer near you for an appointment and inspection.
