HOW TO VIEW THE PARTIAL LUNAR ECLIPSE TONIGHT
There's always the possibility that you may not be able to watch the eclipse in person if we have partial cloud cover. If you can't see it, you can watch all the action online at Space.com. If however, you want the best viewing of the partial eclipse, we have a simple tip for you.
LOOK UP!
Go outside and look up. Seriously. It's that simple. You won't need any special equipment or anything. If you have a pair of binoculars or a telescope, it is safe to use to see more; but really, if you are interested in seeing the partial eclipse, or sharing an educational experience with your kids, going outside and looking up with your own two eyes will be enough.
NEXT ECLIPSE EXPERIENCES
The next total lunar eclipse will happen on March 14th, 2025. The next partial eclipse that we will be able to view won't be until August 28th, 2026.
