Prepare For Magic: Light Up Princeton Parade Scheduled For Novemb

LIGHT IT UP

Since it's October, it's time now to start thinking about holidays. With Halloween kicking off the festive season, we want to look ahead a bit, so you can prepare for a family-friendly fun event that will be taking place in Princeton on November 30th, 2024.

'LIGHT UP' PRINCETON PARADE

The 'Light Up' Princeton Parade has been scheduled for Saturday, November 30th, 2024. The parade will be at 5:30 pm with lineup beginning at 5 pm at Princeton City Hall on 2nd Street and will proceed to 3rd Street and end at the Mille Lacs County Fairgrounds. The parade is being organized by the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce.

If you would like to participate in the parade, there is a registration form that you can fill out by clicking HERE now.

The cost to participate in the parade is $20 per entry for non-chamber members and $15 per entry for Chamber members.

If you are an Ambassador group, there is no charge.

With all that being said, the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for people who want to be a part of making the magic happen!

LIGHT DESIGNERS

If you love working with lighting, the Chamber needs volunteers to string lights to form graphics on new displays being created by Brand Manufacturing. talented graphic artists and creative minds in Princeton are needed to make this holiday season extra magical.

HOT CHOCOLATE SERVERS

4-5 volunteers are needed to sell hot chocolate and deliver it to cars in line at Light Up Princeton. 50% of the profits will go to a non-profit of your choice.

JOIN IN RESIDENTIAL 'LIGHT UP' PRINCETON

All houses must be located within FIVE MILES of the City of Princeton. The winning house will receive $100 worth of local restaurant gift cards! How fun!

The registration form must be received no later than November 15th, 2024 at 5:00 pm to be included in the voting.

Each participating house will be provided a sign for their front yard with your contest number on it, and houses must be decorated by November 30th (signs must be returned to the chamber).

Voting will take place via the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook page beginning Dec. 6th and ending Dec. 20th, 2024.

Each contestant's address will be shown on a digital map and shared on social media.
