‪Police Academy Star, Bubba Smith, Dead At 66 [VIDEO]

Bubba Smith was found dead in his L.A. home yesterday. The NFL star, Police Academy actor and Miller Lite spokesman was 66.

A cause of death was not immediately known, but officials believe Smith died of natural causes. An autopsy will be performed later this week.

The six-foot-seven defensive end spent nine seasons in the NFL, from 1967 to 1976, before embarking on an acting career. He played Moses Hightower in six Police Academy movies and was well known for his Miller Lite commercials, often appearing opposite fellow football legend Dick Butkus.
