Pet Patrol: Meet Kota And Sugar
Meet Kota and Sugar at the Tri-County Humane Society.
Meet Kota.
Kota is a 9 ½ year old spayed and declawed cat with short hair.
She came in to the shelter because her owner was moving and couldn't take her along.
Kota’s favorite toy was a stuffed mouse that she would play with all through the house.
You can rub a little bit of catnip on that mouse to elevate the fun!
She’s a relatively quiet kitty except when she’s hungry. And she’ll let you know when that is!
Kota enjoyed cuddling and would also sleep in the bed if allowed.
Meet Sugar.
Sugar is a spayed 7 year old Rottweiler mix. She’s in the market for a new home due to her owner having to move to a place where dogs aren't allowed.
Sugar is housetrained and she will come up and nudge you with her nose to let you know she needs to go outside.
She’s done well interacting with all ages of children and while she was friendly with cats, she tended to play a bit rough with them. Sugar got along better with larger, older dogs and had a short tolerance for excitable puppy behavior.
Sugar can be a little shy at first, but offer her a treat and she’s on the way to being your new best friend. Two of her favorites treats were blueberries and ice cubes.
