Meet Chloe and Gemini. Two affectionate and playful bundles of “fur-joy” are awaiting you at the Tri-County Humane Society.

Chloe is a three year old Papillon and Pomeranian mix. She was surrendered to the shelter because her previous owner had landlord issues. Chloe is fluent in sit, stay, lay down, come, and no. Although intelligent and adorable, Chloe is afraid of men in uniforms and riding in the car. Consistent and gentle reassurance can help her conquer those fears. She has done well in the past with school aged children and was tolerant of another dog. If you’re not a man in uniform or taking her for a car ride, she’s incredibly sweet and appreciates one-on-one attention. Chloe also loves to run and play with all sorts of toys.

Gemini is looking for a nice quiet home. She is 4 years old, black and white and is spayed. Gemini initially came to the shelter because her previous owner developed allergies. She was adopted and then returned because she was terrified of their dog. Her affectionate and playful personality may take a little time to emerge, but it’s there! Since Gemini has a sensitive personality, a home without small children would be ideal. Since she is 4 years old, she’d be available for adoption to a senior citizen for no fee!
