Pet Patrol: Meet Brooklyn and Sylvester

Meet Brooklyn and Sylvester at the Tri-County Humane Society.

Meet Brooklyn.

Brooklyn is a spayed 7 year old German Shepherd and Husky mix.

Her owners felt they no longer had enough time to care for her.

Brooklyn has been around all ages of kids, cats, as well as other dogs and she got along with all of them.

She’s house-trained and would stare or whimper when she’d need to go outside.

Brooklyn was used to being in a crate when she was home alone. She loves the great outdoors and enjoys going for walks and car rides.

Brooklyn’s very smart and highly treat motivated. She knows how to sit, rollover, high five, shake, and sing.

Meet Sylvester.

Sylvester is a 7 year old neutered and declawed cat who needs a quiet home where he can be the only pet.

He’s not really fond of being held but would rather sit beside you.

Sylvester really liked his cat tower. He’d spend lots of time sitting up high keeping watch. Once he was sure all was well, he’d take a nap in the padded tunnel on his tower.

He can be quite energetic when he’s in the mood to play and enjoyed playing with interactive string toys, jingle balls and catnip toys.

Sylvester’s adoption fee would be waived for seniors, veterans and members of the military.
