Every week I go to the Tri-County Humane Society and make a video with a pet that has been there a long time and needs to find a good home.

This week that pet was Gus the cat. Gus has been at the shelter a little longer than normal because he was being treated for a urinary tract infection, which are common in cats. The only side effect of that is that he needs to be on a special diet, but it is totally manageable with just food.

Gus isn't a big fan of other cats, but he does like dogs and is a great mouser. He loves to play with toys, loves belly rubs, and lots of attention. Gus is basically a dog trapped in a cat's body.

Learn more about Gus in the video below and see all adoptable pets on the Tri-County Humane Society website. Don't forget to check their event calendar for more information on their upcoming Spay-ghetti and No-Balls dinner fundraiser!
