Waite Park’s Pasta Buckets Is Now Closed
Pasta Buckets restaurant in Waite Park has permanently closed.
Located in the former Famous Dave's building near Crossroads Center, Pasta Buckets opened in September of 2024 and offered family-sized pasta meals. No reason for the closing was given on the company's website.
Owner Brandon Gunderson sat down with Kelly Cordes in 2024 when the restaurant opened and said that the concept was aimed at 'fast and oh-so-delicious food and a little taste of Italy to the kitchen table.'
"We created Pasta Buckets for simple, fast and oh so delicious food for you to order ahead and pick up, order inside and take out, or order for delivery. I am extremely excited to bring a little taste of Italy to your kitchen table.
Before opening Pasta Buckets, Gunderson worked for the Letnes Restaurant Group, which includes local restaurants Grizzly's and Boulder Tap House.
People on social media are reacting to the loss, with almost all commenters praising the friendly service and ownership.
Dang! It was so good! The owner was so friendly when we were in there recently! Sad to see it go
Bummer. Owner was a great guy , very hard worker, excellent food. Always had enough leftover for a second meal. I’ll miss it.
.
Great food and the owner is very nice. We will miss catering lunches from them! Was one of the best deals in town for feeding a large group.
