[OPINION] This Is How You Spot A ‘Bad’ Driver In Minnesota
It's been a few months now that I've let this idea roll around in my head, I've tested the hypothesis several times, and I keep getting the same results. Minnesota drivers who have a blacked-out license plate are in most cases more aggressive/awful drivers than the rest of us.
I have proof: a relative of mine drives a truck with a blacked-out license plate, and he's gotten more deer on 4-wheels than he ever has with a rifle in his hand. (Ok so that's not definitive proof of my license plate theory, but the guy hits an awful lot of deer)
More times than not when I've encountered someone all 'jacked' up on the road, they've got a blacked-out license plate on their car.
Ever get passed on I-94 on the left by someone who has a fire to get to? They probably have a black license plate.
Is someone driving the wrong way in the mall parking lot? There seems to be a black tag on the car.

Got Low T, guys? Probably a black license plate had something to do with it.
Complaining about driving isn't something new we do, but I do find it odd that when I encounter aggressive drivers or just downright awful drivers in Central Minnesota, they are all seemingly sporting Minnesota's newest license plate.
Don't get me wrong I like the look of the new black license plate, it's sharp and stands out against the standard blue and white plates that we see on the road, but it seems to be coming with a stigma.
Awful and aggressive driving habits.
Slow down out there, be patient with one another, and we will all get where we are going, regardless of the color of your license plate.
