1 Of MN's 'Best' Pumpkin Patches Is Just 30 Minutes From St. Clou

With the end of 'summer' fast approaching, we see you Labor Day, fall will start to creep into our minds. If you are looking for some fall fun, or want to plan a fun fall date for you and your kids, you might want to check out one of Minnesota's best pumpkin patches. The Minnesota's Best awards were revealed over the weekend and a Monticello farm was recognized as one of the best.

Fresh Acre Farm and Corn Maze out of Monticello took home the bronze in Minnesota's Best contest! The family farm out of Monticello faced some BIG competition as it was the runner-up to both Pinehaven in Wyoming, and Ferguson's Minnesota Harvest Orchard out of Jordan.

The farm is located at 8102 72nd St NE Monticello, MN, and the farm is open starting in September on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Currently the website lists September 14th through October 28th as the dates the farm will be open. The website continues to list the hours that the farm will be open to the public this fall:

Fridays 11-4pm

Saturday/Sunday 10-6

Thursday/Friday of MEA break 10-5

All dates and times are weather permitting.

Tickets will be available at the door and are $12/person for ages 4-69. All other ages are free! All activities are included in admission.

Extra costs: pumpkins and fall decor, food for the petting zoo, corn cannon shots, and food for your family.

Right now, during August, the farm has "a large sunflower field for you and your family to enjoy."
