A new fast casual restaurant is in the works for the St. Cloud area. The restaurant has stated on social media that it will be opening around Christmas time and will be serving 'breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night eats'. Here's what we know so far.

What Was Once A Burger King Will Now Be A Diner

The former Burger King, located near I-94 and off of 43rd Street South, near the Holiday and Pilot truck stops, will soon be opening up as a diner for both residents and commuters. The new restaurant, which stated on social media that it will be a "drive-through, fast-casual food spot designed for your everyday cravings".

The new spot to eat goes by DHABA94-American Diner on social media, and driving by the location today, and later this evening, it appears that some new signage has gone up at the location. Here is what the diner/restaurant posted to social media yesterday evening.

The wheels are officially in motion.

St. Cloud… get ready for a brand-new drive-through, fast-casual food spot designed for your everyday cravings — morning to late night. We’re building something special for our community:

Breakfast → Lunch → Dinner → Late-Night Bites

Think biscuits, pancakes, and breakfast sandwiches, midday favorites like burgers, Fish n’ Chips, Sambusa, and Gyros, and evening classics from shawarma plates to fresh-made naan — plus everything in between. Stay tuned, St. Cloud, Minn.

Dhaba94 is coming.

Previous Signage Indicated An Indian-style Restaurant

Signage for the former Shell station near I-94 previously stated that an Indian-styled restaurant was in the works for the same location, but it seems like that has changed to a more American-style restaurant, except sambusa and gyros being mentioned in the online social media promotion.

The former Burger King, which shared a space inside the former Shell station, closed in late 2023/early 2024 and has sat vacant since the fast food store closed.
