The Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley has announced the arrival of some new animal friends this summer, with a brand new interactive exhibit! Check it out here!

The Minnesota Zoo will always hold a special place in my heart. I grew up just 2 miles away from the zoo, and have been going my entire life! There is always something new and exciting happening over there, and this summer it's going to be no different!

In the summer of 2017, the zoo will be home to kangaroos, wallabies and emus in their new Kangaroo Crossing exhibit! It is a seasonal exhibit, located outside on the Northern Trail - and will be open to the general public on May 6th for weekend visits. The official opening day is May 27th, and will run through Labor Day. After that, Kangaroo Crossing will only be open on the weekends though October 15th.
