There have been several promoters, bands, performers, and some venues that have been starting to require a COVID vaccine at least 14 days before the performance date or a negative COVID test 72 hours before the performance date.

Mystic Lake Casino, located in Prior Lake, Minnesota, is not one of those venues.

This is the post that the Jonas Brothers put out earlier this week:

So, if you plan to go to the Jonas Brothers Show, featuring Kelsea Ballerini, coming to Mystic Lake on September 11th, you probably will need to get a negative test 72 hours ahead of the show unless you have already been vaccinated.  That's because you'd have to have your full round of shots 14 days ahead of the show.  So, the test is your only option this close to the show.

Mystic Lake put this statement out on their website, because they do not agree with the band's requirement.  This is a predicament.

We are aware of the announcement by Jonas Brothers requiring proof of a negative COVID-19 test result or vaccine to attend all shows on their tour after August 27. These requirements do not align with our current protocols, developed under the guidance of SMSC Tribal Public Health. Any further updates will be posted on our social media channels and mysticlake.com.

One would think that since they didn't have this requirement at the time of the contract that was signed, they they would be obligated to play anyway.  As Mystic Lake stated, we will have to see how this one plays out in the coming days/weeks.
