What is being called Minnesota's first 'Dog Bar' has opened in Minneapolis, offering something for both man and beast.

Unleashed Hounds & Hops is part dog play zone, and part human eat & drink zone. Think McDonald's Playland, except instead of Big Macs & Fanta, with toddlers in germy plastic ball bins -- you get wine, craft beers, and a unique menu (for people and pups), with dogs enjoying playtime with other four-legged friends.

We are committed to bringing responsible dog owners together in a safe and friendly environment. We want everyone who walks through our doors to feel a sense of community; where our most important clients, and their owners, can socialize and make new friends. We live by the motto: Nothing brings people together better than good food, cold beer and your best friend.

This bar has clearly gone to the dogs!

Unleashed employees known as 'Ruffarees' are on hand to help keep the peace and manage the experience. Here's a list of the rules.

OK, enough with the rules, here's a look at the menu and beer & wine list.

Admission is $6.99 per dog, and $4 for a second dog. Monthly and annual memberships are available at discounted rates.
