Minnesota Wild Top Hurricanes 5-3 in St. Paul
The Minnesota Wild (47-25-8) topped the Carolina Hurricanes (35-30-14) 5-3 last night at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. With just 2 games remaining in the regular season, the only question remaining is who the Wild face in the first round of the playoffs.
If the post-season started today, Minnesota would have home ice advantage, facing St. Louis in the first round the playoffs.
This will be Minnesota's fifth straight playoff appearance, and eighth overall. It was a terrible March for one of the NHL's hottest team this season -- leaving many wondering which team will show up in the post-season.
In their second to last regular season game, the Wild will visit the Colorado Avalanche tomorrow night (4/6) at the Pepsi Center in Denver.
Let's go Wild!
