The Minnesota Wild (39-14-6) lost to the Chicago Blackhawks (37-18-5) 5-3 last night at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. The Wild now have five days off before resuming acting on Monday.

The Wild remain five points ahead of Chicago in the Central Division. Minnesota's 84 points remains the best in the Western Conference, and just one behind the NHL best Washington Capitals (85).
