The Minnesota Wild (5-2-2) made it four straight wins, topping the Los Angeles Kings 4-1 Thursday night at the Xcel Energy Center.

The Xcel Energy Center crowd helped celebrate assistant captain Ryan Suter's 1000th game, and were treated to another win last night in St. Paul.

Minnesota had a 1-0 lead at the end of the first period on Marcus Foligno's first goal of the season. The Wild led 2-0 after two periods courtesy of Jonas Brodin's first goal of the year.

LA finally got on the board in the third period, before Minnesota added a pair of late empty-netters from Mikael Granlund (4) and Mikko Koivu (2) sealing the 4-1 win.

The Wild out-shot the Kings 26-24, with Devan Dubnyk making 23 saves for Minnesota.
