Minnesota United Puts on Christmas Light Show at New Stadium

The Minnesota United MLS soccer club put on a Christmas light show at their newly completed (and empty) Allianz Field just off I-94 in St. Paul.

The United will open their first season at the new stadium in 2019, after playing at the U of M's TCF Bank Stadium the past few years. The Loons showed off their new facility with a light show the other night to kick off the holiday season.

The light show choreographed to 'Carol of the Bells' bellows through the new stadium, ending with a section of stands illuminated in purple, spelling out MN UFC.
