Minnesota United FC Begins Inaugural MLS Season Tonight
The 2017 Major League Soccer season starts tonight with one of the two expansion teams in action -- when the Minnesota United FC Loons travel Oregon to face the Portland Timbers. Minnesota's home opener is set for Sunday, March 12th.
The Minnesota United FC Loons will call TCF Bank Stadium on the U of M campus in Minneapolis home for the first two seasons, until their new stadium is completed in St. Paul. The Minnesota United FC will play in the MLS Western Conference.
