The bean counters at WalletHub have been at it again, this time looking at the data and crunching the numbers to determine which states are the best for raising a family. And no surprise here -- Minnesota was among the best.

We're number four! We're number four! (I don't think they sell foam fingers for that.) Here's how the top-five best states for raising a family stack up:

  1. North Dakota
  2. New Hampshire
  3. Vermont
  4. Minnesota
  5. Nebraska

The bottom five were Alaska #46, Nevada #47, Louisiana #48, Mississippi $59, and new Mexico #50. You can see the full list of all 50 states ranked HERE.
