Milaca’s First Homegrown Festival A Huge Success

The band shell was colorfully lit as band after band hit the stage from noon til 10 pm in Milaca. Pictured above was "The Maddy Braun Band," one of the highlights of the evening, followed by Sailor Jerri and her amazing band that closed out the night.

With food vendors, perfect weather, and a great line up of local performers, Milaca and surrounding communities came out in droves to show their support of local talent, and to soak in a great afternoon and evening of entertainment.

Brody Cordes, sang and played some amazing guitar as part of the Maddy Braun Band.

I have to say that I was having a blast as Drew Darkwell, above, is a fantastic drummer, but also my son.  My nephew Brody was playing lead guitar, and I've know Maddy's Dad since we were kids. It was so fun to see it all come together!
