A middle school boys basketball team from Kenosha, Wisconsin stopped a basketball game to stick up for one of their cheerleaders recently.

Desiree Andrews was being picked on by fans for having down syndrome when she was cheering during a basketball game. What happened next was nothing short of amazing.

Three of players, who were in the middle of the game, stopped what they were doing, walked off of the court and confronted the student fan section.

The school is allegedly renaming the gymnasium to "D's House" because "D" is Andrew's nickname.

The parents of the three players should be extremely proud.
