IS ZOEY YOUR BEST FRIEND?

A little over a year ago, I adopted my beautiful Chug Gloria from Grey Face Rescue. Gloria was about 7 years old, and she is sweet, active, healthy, and has been a true joy that I could never imagine after losing my Great Dane Sampson. This is the reason I would like you to meet Zoey!  Zoey is also at Grey Face Rescue, and is looking for a Foster parent, or someone to adopt her, and she is a beautiful wonderful dog!

I became a Foster for Grey Face Rescue when I saw Gloria, and ended up adopting her. You could do the same.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ZOEY

Here's what you need to know about this sweet dog, Miss Zoey

  • She is 7 years young
  • She is a Lab/Beagle Mix
  • She's potty-trained! Yay!
  • She knows many many commands
  • She gets along with dogs but just needs slow introductions.
  • She lived with dogs in her previous foster home and did great.
  • She does fine with cats IF the cats mind their own biz and don't sleep on her bed. Can you blame her?
  • She has no health concerns. That's a big big plus!

THE PERFECT FIT MIGHT BE YOU

Zoey's best fit would be to go to an active couple or someone looking for a sidekick. Plus this adorable pooch would love a job! She doesn't particularly like younger children... but she would do fine with teens or adults. Zoey really likes routine and structure, and if you have a fenced in yard, that would be GREAT so she could run and play, like any great dog would...However, if you walk her often, she'll be fine!
She loves affection but don't let her on the bed or couch as she'll claim it as her own, and you'll end up sleeping on the floor.

FOSTERING AND ADOPTING

Don't let the words foster or adoption scare you! Grey Face will let you know everything that's required of you. If you have a love for animals, and have a loving, caring home, fostering and adopting can be as good for you as it is for the beautiful dog you save.

If you are interested in fostering Zoey, email Grey Face Rescue at foster@greyfacerescue.org.

If you are interested in adopting Zoey, email Grey Face Rescue at: adoption@greyfacerescue.org.
