Shoppers and mall-walkers rejoice; the largest shopping center in America is set to reopen tomorrow (6/10) in Bloomington.

The Mall of America had originally planned on reopening on June 1st, but postponed that from happening due to the unrest in the Twin Cities following the death of George Floyd.

The mall has been closed, other than limited curb-side pickup, since March 17th due to Minnesota's stay-at-home measures intended to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.

Throughout the property, we will endeavor to meet or exceed state and local health authority guidelines on proper physical distancing. The health and safety of our employees and guests are our number one priority.

For your health and safety, the Mall of America has installed touchless hand sanitizers, implemented floor markings to promote social distancing and reduced seating capacity in the food court and other common areas.

The mall has also increased frequency of cleanings, reduced shopping hours and installed plexiglass dividers to create separation between shoppers and employees.

Mall of America hours beginning tomorrow will be 11 AM to 7 PM seven days a week. Some retailers will also to continue to offer curb-side pickup. You can see a list of participating stores HERE.

The Mall of America opened its doors for the first time on August 11th, 1992.
