The National Weather Service is saying a major winter storm will likely impact central Minnesota Wednesday and Thursday, with heavy snow possible.

It looks like the best bet is that things will start as rain Tuesday or Wednesday, before changing over to snow. Strong winds could also cause blizzard conditions for some areas.

Stay tuned for forecast updates, especially if you have travel plans Wednesday or Thursday.
