DAISY KENT IS MAKING WAVES

Daisy Kent, former contestant and one of the last two remaining contestants that won Joey Graziadei's heart on the last season of 'The Bachelor,' is going to be in Becker for a book signing event tomorrow.

MEDICAL ISSUES LEAD TO DIAGNOSIS

Daisy Kent suffered from many medical issues when she was a child, including hearing loss. In 6th grade, she was diagnosed with Epilespy, which was the wrong diagnosis, and later diagnosed with Meniere's disease.

ADVOCATE FOR THOSE SUFFERING FROM HEARING LOSS

Daisy has been an advocate for those suffering from hearing loss and has recently written a children's book called 'Daisy Doo - All The Sounds She Knew.'

DAISY DOO

The story is described as a heartwarming book that takes you through a child's perseverance in the face of hearing loss. Daisy Doo discovers the beauty of her favorite sounds once again, thanks to a cochlear implant. It's a book to help children and adults alike appreciate their sense of hearing and teach children to 'embrace the magic of being uniquely themselves.'
