As a musician myself, it's good to see that venues are coming back to life. I especially think of those that are starting to also remember the players in the area, that were also directly affected by the shutting down of restaurants and bars in the area.

Now it's time to get back to work. I myself am going to start playing again Friday. I've been checking my equipment; cleaning it up, making sure all my instruments, cables, and mics are in working order. I've also been practicing every day to build up a song list that I feel will entertain people where they're at.

I'm starting out small, playing just keys and with my sons or nephew occasionally as an acoustic duo or trio. That's why I was so excited to see that this music series was also coming to St. Cloud and it starts tomorrow night.

The "LIVE MUSIC SERIES" is being presented by House of Pizza and is taking place at the St. Cloud location attached to the Quality Inn, at 4141 2nd Street South, St. Cloud. The "House of Pizza" West Location.

The next event is tomorrow, Thursday, March 18th, and will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 each Thursday evening. You can enjoy specials, great music and fun.

There are many other places around the area that are slowly bringing bands back, and it's so appreciated. Rollie's Rednecks and Longnecks has been featuring music for quite some time, and The Red Carpet Martini Lounge also.

If you know of some great places we can safely gather to see live performers, let me know.
