Lakes Jam Officially Postponed Until 2021
The Lakes Jam team tried -- and tried again, but in the end were left no choice other than to postpone the 2020 music festival until 2021.
The three night event was originally scheduled for late June, but was moved to August 6th, 7th, and 8th due to the coronavirus pandemic -- hoping that would buy enough time for conditions to improve.
With much heartache, we must announce that Lakes Jam 2020 will be postponed until June 23rd - 26th of 2021. This has been a long and agonizing process and we've tried everything possible to allow us to move forward with our August dates. Unfortunately due to recent comments by our state government and details of events in other states, we must notify our Lakes Jam Family, artists, vendors, employees, volunteers and so on, that the show can't go on as planned.
Your 2020 passes and camping will automatically be transferred to the 2021 event. You will retain the same campsites, reserved seats and so on. You will be able to exchange single day passes for a different day as our rock and country dates are not set at the moment. The Lakes Jam team is setting up the new ticketing system so it will be a month or so before this all gets finalized.
If you purchased a ticket at a hard location (not email/pdf ticket), you can mail that into Lakes Jam, with your name and email address, and they will issue an electronic ticket to your email address. You can mail to Lakes Jam, PO Box 2856, Baxter, MN 56425 and again, include your name and email address.
Lakes Jam does have a no refund policy, but understand that these are extraordinary times and if you would like to make a case for a refund, you can email them at info@lakesjam.com.
We can't wait to see you at Lakes Jam 2021 at Brainerd International Raceway!
Pete Hanson is on 98.1 Minnesota's New Country weekday mornings from 5:30 to 10:00.
