Although the colors are slow to change here in St. Cloud, the Minnesota DNR says that things are starting to hit peak color levels in central Minnesota -- making 2018 the year of less-than-spectacular colors.

The prevailing opinion is that the wet weather has muted this autumn's display. I'm looking out my window by Lake George in St. Cloud and it's not much different than it looked in July (minus the snow flurries).
