Kelly’s Kitchen: Kelly’s Creamy Chicken Florentine Recipe
Sometimes, I just check out what's in my freezer and fridge and create something from scratch. I made the most delicious dish last night totally by accident; it was so good I wanted to share.
KELLY'S CREAMY CHICKEN FLORENTINE
- Mild Taco Seasoning
- 3 chicken breasts cut up into chunks
- 1 bag of frozen mushrooms
- 1 bag of frozen spinach
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup 2 % milk
- 1 cup egg noodles
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
Heat up oil in frying pan and place chicken chunks in pan. Add 1/2 package of mild taco seasoning. Half way through browning chicken, add mushrooms and spinach. Add 1 cup of milk. Cover. Stir often. After chicken is mostly cooked, add noodles and stir. Then add 1 cup of sour cream. Let sit on medium heat for about 20 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. You could add shredded cheddar cheese to this; but it was so good, creamy and delicious that I didn't need to any anything else.
