Keg Flinging Weekend? Just One of the Themes at the Ren Fest
Looking for something to do this weekend? There is the Minnesota State Fair, obviously, we've been hearing about that A LOT from almost everyone. But another thing that is going on this weekend, and through the end of September, is the Renaissance Festival.
Every weekend of the Ren Fest has a different theme. This weekend the theme is the Highland Fling! This will be going on all weekend long, from August 31st through September 2nd.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Who knew keg flinging could be a contest? If you are someone who delivers beer, you might have been a person who could use this talent. That would take some strength.
If you are interested, there are a few more themed weekends coming up too. More information on their website.
Here are some highlights:

Parking has been an issue, because of traffic being backed up on the road leading into the festival. The festival has now required advance parking passes to be purchased if you are wanting to park on site. If you don't want to do that, there are several park and ride locations to choose from to get you to the festival as quickly and effortlessly as possible.
