Every weekend of the Ren Fest has a different theme.  This weekend the theme is the Highland Fling! This will be going on all weekend long, from August 31st through September 2nd.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Join the Celebration of games during the Highland Fling weekend. Witness the strength of the athletes with the 7 series heavy games while kicking back in your kilt. Experience Fantastic Feats and Flings!

Who knew keg flinging could be a contest?  If you are someone who delivers beer, you might have been a person who could use this talent.  That would take some strength.

If you are interested, there are a few more themed weekends coming up too. More information on their website.

Here are some highlights:

WOOFSTOCK - Enjoy your favorite fido friend at the Woofstock weekend. It will be a pooch pal party with contests, races, treats and more! Experience a Howlin’ Hurrah!

WINE CHOCOLATE AND ROMANCE - Fall in love throughout the Wine, Chocolate & Romance weekend. Make it a romantic weekend getaway or wine weekend with your best pals. Experience Wine Aplenty!

EXPERIENCE LOVE FOR THE ARTS - Unearth your inner Michealangelo at the Experience Love for the Arts weekend. Revel in classic paintings, expressive movements to vocal arrangements, you’ll fall in love with the arts! Experience Love for the Arts!

FESTIVAL FRIDAY - details on this weekend are still to come.

OKTOBERFEST - Raise a stein and give a hearty “Huzzah” at the Oktoberfest weekend. Oktoberfest will be filled with plenty of beer and Bavarian cheer. Experience the final weekend of the 2024 season!

Parking has been an issue, because of traffic being backed up on the road leading into the festival.  The festival has now required advance parking passes to be purchased if you are wanting to park on site.  If you don't want to do that, there are several park and ride locations to choose from to get you to the festival as quickly and effortlessly as possible.
