I recently heard that Justin Moore celebrate's the New Year by eating "Hawg Jaw"....Which I believe translates to "Hog Jowl"....I have to admit...I've never heard of this before. But Justin...it just doesn't sound like something I would even want to try.

Justin's guitar player is a friend of mine from Kentucky; I'm thinking maybe I should call Roger and ask if he's ever eaten Hog Jowl with Justin?  There's just something about it that seems too "REAL."  A New Year's favorite? A special treat?  I may have lived in the south for a time, but this isn't anything I was ever introduced to.  I'll eat your fried green tomatoes, and, beans and cornbread with a bite of onion all day, but this one is all yours.
