If you’ve ever walked through Pine Grove Zoo in Little Falls and thought, “This would be such a fun place to work,” this might be your moment.

As the weather warms up across Central Minnesota, Pine Grove Zoo is gearing up for another busy and exciting season, and they’re inviting the community to step into the experience in a whole new way. They’re looking for volunteers!

A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR PEOPLE WHO LOVE ANIMALS

If you love animals, enjoy connecting with other people, want to make a real difference in your community, and are the kind of person who doesn't mind a littler dirt and slobber, this could be the opportunity for you.

BECOMING A PART OF SOMETHING SPECIAL

This isn’t just about helping out. It is about becoming part of something meaningful.

The zoo is looking for people who honor their commitments, bring a positive attitude, and care deeply about both animals and people. Whether you are outgoing and love chatting with visitors, or you prefer quieter, behind-the-scenes work, there is a role that fits.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT PINE GROZE ZOO IN LITTLE FALLS

There are several unique opportunities to choose from.

ZOO AMBASSADOR

You could be a Zoo Admission Ambassador! Your job would be welcoming families to the zoo, and helping kick off their visit with a smile while assisting with admissions and gift shop purchases.

WILD GUIDES

If you enjoy being out and about, as a Wild Guide, you'll be roaming the zoo, helping guests find animals, and sharing what is happening that day, along with upcoming events.

PETTING STABLE AMBASSADORS

For those who like hands-on work, the Petting Stable Ambassador role offers the chance to work directly with animals, while helping keep the space clean and comfortable. Training is required, but the reward is a real connection with the zoo’s animal family.

WILD PROJECT AIDES

Wild Project Aides assist with outdoor projects that keep the zoo running smoothly.

JOIN THE SPECIAL EVENT TEAM

If you enjoy high-energy environments, the Special Event Team helps with camps, events, and fundraisers throughout the season. It is a great way to be part of some of the zoo’s most exciting days.

VOLUNTEER AS A FAMILY

Some roles at Pine Grove Zoo allow adults to volunteer alongside their children, making it a meaningful way for families to give back together. Community groups and local businesses can also get involved when larger volunteer projects are needed.
