After 12 Years, Minnesota Brewery Dangerous Man is Closing
Some very sad news was announced today by Dangerous Man Brewing Company. Dangerous Man has been a staple in the Minnesota beer community for many years but they have decided to close their doors.
I'm a huge craft beer fan and I feel like I always saw Dangerous Man beer anywhere I went. They have some really good brews, the Peanut Butter Porter is one of my favorites. They also started creating some really good THC drinks, the Blueberry Pie one is to die for.

Looking at Dangerous Man's website, it's hard to imagine that they're closing, they distributed their beers and THC drinks everywhere!
That only shows where they distributed in the Twin Cities, they distributed all over Minnesota and into other states, too.
But sadly, they've decided to make the call to close their doors.

Why is Dangerous Man Brewing Closing?
In their announcement on social media, they don't mention why they're closing. I'm going to guess it has something to do with the cost to continue operations. When it's a personal matter I feel like that's usually addressed in announcements like this.
There's also speculation that closing their Minneapolis location and moving everything out to Maple Lake, almost an hour northwest of Minneapolis, is what did them in, but who knows.
Regardless, they have decided it's time to "hang up the brewing paddle" as they said, and close after 12 years.
In their announcement, they shared their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported them:
Every toast, new release, can you took home, & quiet (or loud!) pint shared with a friend. For that, we are eternally grateful.
When is Dangerous Man Brewing Closing?
Dangerous Man will officially close at the end of March. Their beers and THC drinks will continue to be sold in stores and restaurants/bars until they run out. So if you have a favorite from them, now may be the time to go out and stock up.
