Besides having the nasty No-see-um bugs flying around my face, I LOVE the fall season!  There is just something about driving in the neighborhood and seeing the bright green leaves turn a new shade of orange, yellow, or red.

Ultimate Fall Bucket List Adventure Guide for Minnesotans

In Minnesota, the end of November is when we typically see our first measurable snowfall.  According to weather.gov, the Minneapolis/St. Paul area normally sees their first significant snowfall on November 19th.  Rochester usually pulls out the shovels for their first big snowfall on November 21st.  Duluth is a completely different beast when it comes to winter - they'd better start checking off this list because their first measurable snow is typically October 22nd.

WARNING: Mother Nature does what she wants and could throw some snow even earlier.  Example - Halloween in 1991.  I remember going trick-or-treating as a kid, as it started to snow.  The next day, my small town in Iowa was completely shut down, and had no electricity thanks to the ice storm that rolled through.

Find your favorite hoodie, grab a few friends or family members, and go enjoy these last few days of gorgeous fall weather!  Below are some fun ways to make that happen in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
