SHOCKING! 22 Walmart Stores Closing For Good In 2023

Just a few months ago, news broke that a Walmart store in Minnesota was closing because it was "underperforming". I just learned today that the Minnesota store in Brooklyn Center isn't the only Walmart shuttering this year. According to businessinsider.com, a total of 22 Walmarts are closing throughout the United States. The impact of these closures will be felt in 14 states which include Minnesota, Illinois, and Wisconsin.

22 Walmart Stores Closing in the United States in 2023

I know you've noticed the higher prices at the grocery stores. The pandemic and now inflation are challenging all of us right now but unfortunately, individuals and families aren't the only ones suffering. Big business is feeling the pinch too. Sadly, one of the big box stores recently announced that due to poor performance, 22 Walmart stores in the United States will be closing. Some states have already witnessed their stores shuttering for good.

What store do you wish would re-open?

The mall where I grew up closed a few years ago and has been demolished. When I go home, it is just a weird scene to me now because my teenage years were spent at a mall that now no longer exists. It's where I had my first job and hung out with friends. Now, it's gone.
