Hey Starbucks – It’s Still Summer – Slow Your Roll

Does this seem too early?  I know that Summer is winding down, it's back to school season and people are already thinking about Fall, Halloween, and some Oktoberfest and Fall type festivals.  However, it is still in the 80s, and it's still Summer for another month.  Is introducing the Fall favorite of Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) right now a little too early?

SOME PEOPLE JUST LIVE FOR THE PSL CRAZE

I get that some people can not wait for the season of Pumpkin Spice Latte and everything that goes along with it.  Now it has gone a little too far with all of the pumpkin flavored and scented items.  I had to draw the line when I saw a pumpkin spice feminine product. Like that needs to happen.  Good grief!  There is even pumpkin spice Spam!  Who was the person who asked for that?  Maybe it's good - I really have no idea.  I would love to hear from someone who has tried that one.

LET'S CELEBRATE FALL - WHEN IT'S FALL

The idea is that we are transitioning into fall, but as a society we have a tendancey to rush the seasons.  It seems that throughout the recent years, things have been in the stores and on sale a lot earlier than what they used to be.  Now there are things that are on sale for Thanksgiving and Christmas before Halloween even happens.  There were Halloween decorations out in the stores around the 4th of July.  So right next to all of the patriotic merch there were also Halloween costumes.  Seems odd.

EACH SEASON/HOLIDAY DESERVES TO HAVE THEIR TIME AND TO BE CELEBRATED

Let's take some time to enjoy the season we are in before we are rushing into the next one before it's time.  The only season that seems to drone on longer than maybe it should is Christmas.  People leave their decor up until Valentine's Day sometimes.  I guess it's up to each person, but how about we celebrate each holiday during it's time.
