I was caught off guard this weekend when I saw a social media post from a bar/bistro that I usually stop at while riding along the Soo Line Trail in Isle. Beckham's Bar & Bistro announced that Saturday was its last day in business.

Sudden Closure?

The bar & bistro announced on Saturday morning, inviting customers past and present out to enjoy a beverage together before closing the business for good at last call.

Our Final Cheers at Beckham’s Bar & Bistro

Today, we pour our last round and serve our final plates. It’s a bittersweet day as Beckham’s Bar & Bistro closes its doors.

For years, this little place has been filled with laughter, music, late-night toasts, first dates, celebrations, and friendships that turned into family. None of it would have been possible without you—our loyal guests, our amazing staff, and everyone who made Beckham’s more than just a bar.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for every memory, every story shared over a drink, and every moment spent with us.

Stop in one last time today—let’s raise a glass

With gratitude and love,
The Beckham’s Family

A lot of the comments left under the social media post thanked the owners for the years of service and for all of the good memories that were made with a trip out to Beckham's Bar & Bistro.

Best Potato Salad Ever

When my family rides the Soo Line Trail, we often made a lunch or dinner stop at Beckham's. We knew that the food was good, and in my opinion, they had the BEST potato salad!

I believe it was made in-house, and I could never get enough. Sadly, I won't be able to now that they've closed.

I looked through Beckham's social media feed and never saw an earlier announcement about the closure, so I'm hoping it was more of an end-of-the-month/season decision versus something worse.
