Is Famous Dave’s Open In St. Cloud For Delivery Only?

Famous Dave's, formerly located near Crossroads Center, shut their doors on April 27, 2019. Several community members were heartbroken to see the barbecue establishment go (myself included). It was definitely a central Minnesota family favorite.

There could be some good news for Famous Dave's lovers. The food delivery service DoorDash has been advertising Famous Dave's delivery is coming back to the St. Cloud area.

Stop, SAY WHAAAAT?!

According to an email alert they sent out, "The St. Cloud locations is now open for delivery only. Dine-in, car-side to go and pickup are not available through this location. Must order delivery through DoorDash."

However, Famous Dave's, located at 310 3rd Street NE in Waite Park, is listed as 'permanently closed' according to Google and the chain's Waite Park location Facebook page. We're not sure if Famous Dave's is opening in a new location or if DoorDash is delivering to St. Cloud from another Famous Dave's location in Minnesota.

On DoorDash's website, you can order all of the entrees you'd expect from Famous Dave's, including the full array of smoked meats, barbecue and sides. They've got the Pick 2 Combo option, Founder's Feast, All-American BBQ Feast, Pick 3 Combo and more. It looks like the full menu is available for delivery.

Famous Dave's delivery is available through DoorDash Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
