DO YOU LOVE YOUR AIR FRYER?

My sweet boyfriend Darin heard me talking about how everyone, and I mean everyone told me that I needed to get an air fryer and/or an Instapot.  So he decided to do his research on those two items and bought me a top of the line family sized Yedi Air Fryer.

THE CADILLAC OF AIR FRYERS

I was so excited to get this. It took me 40 minutes to unpack it. It had so many different attachments packed into it, I think it will take me a month to learn how to use everything. You can make rotisserie chicken, kabobs, baked potatoes, and anything you like fried, is healthier in an air fryer.

So far, I've been experimenting. I emptied a bag of frozen shrimp into it, and 10 minutes later, I had some deliciously air fried shrimp, that I served with garlic butter. It was delicious...and fast! It was also a pretty darn easy clean up.

RECIPES AND IDEAS

I decided then to try air fried chicken, as my radio daughter Abbey Minke said it was "The Best."

I took 1 large chicken breast, and cut it into four pieces. I sprayed it with cooking spray and used salt and pepper to season. I set it in the air fryer and pushed the "chicken" button. 25 minutes later, I really did have deliciously cooked, tender, juicy chicken.

Then I decided to make chicken and veggies at the same time. The veggies also turned out like something you'd have put on your grill; a delicious taste; although I think I should have cooked them separately, or taken the veggies out sooner, as they were slightly charred. For me, slightly charred is great, but for some, it may have been a bit over cooked. The chicken again turned out great.

I'M LOOKING FOR GREAT RECIPES

So...since you love your air fryer so much...what do YOU fix in it? I would love some great ideas? Healthy or not, I'm always looking for something unique and fun. Send your ideas to Kelly@minnesotasnewcountry.com.
