CRAVINGS FOR DELICIOUSNESS

I woke up this morning craving a delicious bakery item from this lovely bakery in Little Falls, Minnesota.

Late last summer, I thought it might be nice to meet one of my high school friends for breakfast. She lives near Brainerd and with me living in St. Cloud, we thought we would look for some location that was equal distance for both of us to drive. We were looking for a quaint little cafe; you know the kind.  Some places offer homestyle breakfasts like biscuits and gravy, eggs and bacon, and more.

LITTLE FALLS BAKERY & DELI

We decided on a location in Little Falls. We heard of a place called the Little Falls Bakery & Deli, formerly Pete & Joy's Bakery & Cafe. We met at 10 am and couldn't believe the find.

I have to be honest. When I walked in the first thing I saw was a long, glass display cabinet filled with every kind of pastry imaginable. Caramel Rolls, Cinnamon Rolls, Bismarks, Glazed Donuts, danishes and much more.

I was also impressed with their amazing selection of cookies. The decorations on top were super cute.

PASTRIES OH MY!

After I passed the large selection of pastries, we went around the corner and found the cafe. They had a small menu of 5 items, with tons of sides to choose from. The portions were huge and all I can say is the food was just like Grandma makes. Delicious from the first bite to the last.

AFFORDABLE MASSIVE BREAKFAST OPTIONS

Lastly, the prices were perfect. A huge breakfast cost me under $10.

I walked out with a dozen of the pastries and I have to say they were some of the best pastries I've ever eaten. NO JOKE. I'm a pastry LOVER, so this was a pleasant surprise and I will be going back again and again.
