THIS IS TRUE, YA'LL!

Okay. I love my friends and family in Eastern Kentucky. As a matter of fact, they will bend over backwards to accommodate you if you're down on your luck. But if this ain't true...I ain't a livin. Now before all of my Eastern Kentucky friends get mad at me for posting this, it was one of YOU that sent it to me. I've laughed until I've cried.

WELL BLESS YOUR HEART

If you've never been to Eastern Kentucky, you probably wonder why I say things like: Hell Farr!  (That's my friend Carol's words).... or "Well bless your heart,"  (Carol...you own this one too).

IT'S WORTH TRYIN'

You wonder what's different about me? I've become accustomed to eatin' soup beans and cornbread, fried green tomatoes, fried okra, sweet potato casserole and drinking Nannies Old Fashioned Sweet Iced tea.  I'm not saying I didn't have friends makin shine, but that's nothing new to Minnesota. My Mother in Law's name was Nannie Mae! You can't get any more southern than that.

The sweetest people on the earth...and I still love that southern accent.

There are lots of sayings that I dare not repeat, but this 'lil' video will give you a really good education in speaking like you're from Eastern Kentucky, Honey.  Hell Farr....That's that dang truth. It's also the reason you have some great lyrics for all those country songs you love. Enjoy.
