Break out your favorite tool that you never use and bring it to the Maplewood Mall next week to get it signed by Home Improvement alum, Richard Karn!

Richard Karn Will Be at the Maplewood Mall

Richard Karn is most famous for portraying Al Borland, the foil to Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor (Tim Allen) on Home Improvement's in-show TV program, "Tool Time". He was also the fourth host of Family Feud from 2002 to 2006, replacing Minnesota comedian Louie Anderson.

Karn will be at the Maplewood Mall to sign autographs and take pictures with fans on Saturday, November 2nd, from 1pm to 4pm.

And: it's a FREE event! I DO think so, Tim!

Sorry...not sorry.

Fun Fact: Richard Karn has appeared in TWO music videos: as himself in a Family Feud parody role in The Strokes' "Someday", and as a saxophone player in Train's cover of the Wham! classic "Careless Whisper".

He even appeared - as himself - on a 2007 episode of WWE Raw.

His first acting gig was in a Michelob beer commercial that was featured during Super Bowl XIV.

Karn has written two books:

  • House Broken: How I Remodeled My Home for Just Under Three Times the Original Bid (1999)
  • Handy at Home: Tips on Improving Your Home from America's Favorite Handyman (2002)

Karn has been married to actress Tudi Roche - who is best known for her recurring role as Carrie on Home Improvement - since 1985.
