The highest scoring team in the country, the third-ranked St. Cloud State Huskies (25-6-1),  lit the lamp six more times last night at Baxter Arena in Omaha, dropping the eleventh-ranked University of Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks (18-11-1) 6-3 to complete the weekend sweep.

In addition to leading the country in goals scored (140), the Huskies also lead the nation with 25 wins. SCSU goaltender Charlie Lindgren leads the nation among goalies with 24 wins.

The SCSU Huskies have clinched home ice throughout the upcoming NCHC playoffs on the way to the Frozen Face-off at Target Center in Minneapolis.

The Huskies return home next weekend for a series against UM-D at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. Great tickets are still available and you can purchase them at the gate or online at www.scsutickets.com.

Go Huskies!
