How To Make The Most of the “Made In Minnesota” Expo Saturday
KELLY'S 'MADE IN MINNESOTA' PLAN
MADE IN MINNESOTA EXPO 2018 IS SATURDAY
Every year I look forward to my first holiday shopping stop of the year. With free admission, you've got nothing to lose, and lots to gain! The Made In Minnesota Expo keeps on growing; and for those of you who take pride in being a true blooded Minnesotan, you'll want to be there to support your fellow statesmen and women who are all about Minnesota too.
KELLY'S TIPS FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE
I have two different approaches to experiencing the Made In Minnesota event this year.
STEP ONE- PREVIEW THE VENDORS ONLINE HERE
You need a plan. Who are you shopping for? Mom? Dad? Yourself? Find the list of all the vendors that are going to be at the expo by clicking HERE now. Knowing who is going to be there, you can make a list of the places you MUST see first, for the gifts on your shopping list.
STEP TWO- GET THERE EARLY
Everything opens at 10. You'll get the best selection of products available for purchase, as well as the freshest taste of delicious foods and beverages.
STEP THREE- VISIT THE BOOTHS ON YOUR LIST FIRST
All of the vendors are going to have plenty of stock available for purchase...but every year, the number of attendees grows and grows, so getting to the booths that are of the most interest to you first is a must.
STEP FOUR-BRING FRIENDS...BAGS...OR A SHOPPING CART
You're shopping. Think about how you're going to carry all of your goods around. You can make multiple trips back and fourth to your vehicle, or you can bring a couple friends...kids....whoever to help you carry all of your bags. DOUBLE HINT LADIES; EMPTY YOUR PURSE OF HEAVY STUFF before you go.
STEP FIVE- THE FULL SWEEP
The last step. Once you've visited the booths on your list, start at the 98.1 Minnesota's New Country Tent...spin the wheel for a chance to win pairs of 3 day passes to WeFest 2019, and then make a full sweep of all the booths. Surely...there will be more booths that will catch your eye...and you don't want to walk away without seeing all there is to see about these great Minnesota businesses.
I can't wait to meet you Saturday! Stop by and chat with my morning show partner Pete and myself! See you there!
