Saturday was the first official day of summer and while I've seen people out and about enjoying the warm weather, there is one clear indicator that it is summer in Minnesota.

It's not the bonfires, people sitting outside grilling and pounding a few cold ones.  It's not people out exercising or all the outdoor music festivals.  So, how do I know summer is here?  Two words -- road construction.

I get it, they have to do it but it's such a pain!  I am a creature of habit so I don't like altering my routine and I despise sitting in traffic.  That's the best way to put me in a bad mood! Working here in St. Cloud I usually don't have it too bad on my way home because everyone is heading in the opposite direction but sitting in traffic is a waste of time and life is just too short.

How do you tell it's summer in Minnesota?
