The website's study found that Minnesotans pay an average of $2,216 per month for the ten most common household bills. The ten bills included in the research included mortgage, rent, auto loans, utilities, automobile insurance, mobile phone, cable/internet, health insurance, life insurance and alarm/security.
The $2,216 price tag is slightly higher than the US average of $2,126 and ranks Minnesota #18 in the country by that metric. The doxo study found that Minnesotans spend 31% of their income on household builds.
Locally, St. Cloud residents pay an average of $2,098 per month (or $25,176 per year) on the ten most common household bills, which is slightly below the Minnesota and US average numbers.
St. Cloud's total ranks #47th-highest in the state of Minnesota
The average St. Cloud resident spends over 40% of their income on household bills.
According to doxo, the average monthly mortgage payment in St. Cloud is $1,314, while average rent is currently $949. The average St. Cloudian pays $493 per month in auto loans, $205 in utilities, $345 for health insurance, $332 for auto insurance, $73 for cable/internet, $73 for mobile phone service, $108 for alarm/home security and $211 per month for life insurance.
Sartell ranked as the 33rd most expensive city in Minnesota with an average monthly household cost of $2,286 per month, while Sauk Rapids ranked #52 at $2,031.
