The Cathedral football team has improved each of the first 3 seasons under head coach Dean Taylor the bar is set even higher for this season.  Cathedral won just 1 game in Taylor’s first year there but 3 games the following year and 6 games in 2011.  Cathedral lost some key players from last year’s team but Taylor has high hopes for this year’s team.

Junior Jeff Fasching will start at quarterback with Bo Schmitz and Brian Bauer seeing time at running back and numerous players getting opportunities at receiver including Brady Schmitz.

The Crusaders begin the 2012 season at Holdingford at August 31 before hosting Little Falls on September 7.  Cathedral plays at Albany on September 14, will host Litchfield on September 21 and will play back to back road games at Princeton and Milaca before coming home to play Mora on October 12.  The Crusaders wrapup the season at Zimmerman on October 17.
